wow. crazy. how many more will there be? i suspect likely none, but this tropical atlantic season has surprised many a larger brain than mine.
it's cold here. please make it stop. i want storms and humidity and canola fields and overnight lows of 25 degrees.

those forecasts are based on long-term climate models, coupled with sea-surface temperatures, talking about the el nino phase. i'm skeptical that there's any skill in such a forecast, so it remains to be seen...
