ugh. cold.

the models seem to be converging on a solution for this weekend, but i don't like it.

they're blasting us with ridiculously cold air, settling in for the weekend. right now the gfs has sunday morning as the coldest, with morning temperatures in winnipeg near -35°c. i'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that colder than -40--perhaps in the -43 or -44 range--is possible with this outbreak. it's serious cold air coming our way, folks.

plug in your cars and wear many layers. summer couldn't be further away.
