2 things

the mini chase the other day was a bust. i went to pilot mound, saw the storms were piling up by brandon, went north to carberry, and then home. i caught some rain and winds to 70 km/h. woo.

the other thing is this: someone is forecasting an all-time record for winnipeg. i leave this without further comment:

LOL! That's hilarious! TWN sure throws in some wacky forecasts sometimes. Probability in there just for fun. Doesn't show up on TV though.

How could it be a low of 21 on the same day. Night time temps would not get below 33 if its 44 during the day, me thinks. TWN is trying to get people's attention. Maybe I should forecast Saskatoon to be 50 degrees and see if I get more hits. Either way, this is the time of the year to pay close attention to the weather. A disasterously large storm is just a matter of time with so much heat and humidity.

Today(11/07/06), I can see some moisture heading this way on radar. Maybe there will be another big chase later today for me.
